The Ace-AFO bicycle (VA-AFO) of the DARE brand was invited for the first time to participate in the prestigious Cyclingnews annual wind tunnel test, which took place at the famous Silverstone sports engineering center. Competing against 11 of the best aerodynamic bikes in the world, the VA-AFO proved its engineering excellence. This year's evaluation went beyond the usual categories by adding a unique wheelset upgrade test. And the VA-AFO shone in every scenario, demonstrating its performance without depending on specific wheels.

Bike highlights

• Regarding the framework:

At a cruising speed of 40 km/h, the VA-AFO required only 63.48 watts, a saving of nearly 40 watts compared to the base bicycle. This result places it 3rd overall, just 2 watts behind the leader.

• Wheelset upgrade:

In the standardized Enve 4.5 wheel play test, VA-AFO lost only 0.21 watts, highlighting the solidity of its aerodynamic design. Unlike other bikes, the VA-AFO's performance does not depend on specific wheels, which proves its adaptability and efficiency.
