Hutchinson Blackbird Tubetype road bike tire

The Hutchinson Blackbird Racing Lab Tubetype is the very latest model designed by the French brand Hutchinson. This high-end model is advertised as the brand's fastest, but it is also one of the highest-performing tires on the market in terms of the puncture resistance/lifespan combo.

Handmade in France, the Blackbird features Hutchinson's new Mach Tread 3.0 rubber compound. This compound delivers remarkable performance for high-speed cornering while also offering low rolling resistance. It features different casings for the tread and the sidewalls. Indeed, we find 3x127 TPI on the sides, which provides excellent grip as well as superior sidewall protection. The tread features 2x127 TPI, ensuring efficiency under all circumstances.

It features the new Swifteasy casing construction, which gives the tire optimal deformation and flexibility to smooth out road imperfections, thereby offering you an enhanced gain in comfort.
